In order to have the perfect smile that you have always wanted you should take the following guidelines into account:

  • Brush your teeth at least 2 times a day, in the morning and in the evening before going to bed.
  • Use dental floss daily so as to clean the spaces that you would otherwise not have access to with the toothbrush.
  • Check for swollen gums that ache, bleedings when you brush your teeth or in general in the mouth, constantly bad smelling breath. If you recognize all these symptoms you should go to the dentist’s.    
  • Do not smoke.
  • Go to the dentist’s as soon as you feel pain, but not only then. We recommend a regular examination.

How to brush your teeth correctly :

  • Hold the toothbrush at approximately 45 degrees from the teeth. Start with the gums. Then brush gently the whole surface of the tooth.
  • Brush all sides of the tooth- front, back, alongside the tongue and on the sides.
  • The process of brushing the teeth should be slow and it should last not less than 2 minutes and not more than three.
  • Do not brush in the same direction. You can miss the same stains which will never be removed.
  • Use a smooth toothbrush with bristles in a circular shape. Choose the size and shape of the toothbrush so that you can best clean your teeth. There are various types of toothbrushes. Your dentist can recommend the best. The toothbrush should be changed at least once every three months.
  • Do not forget to brush your tongue with an outward movement. This is important for the removal of bacteria that are the cause of bad breath.
  • Brushing your teeth is crucial for the prevention of tooth decay as well as for the fight against bacteria and tartar, other causes of dental problems.
